After a  period of technical difficuilty, normal service has finally resumed!

I discovered whilst looking after the poodles of Minehead that familiarity doesn’t necessary breed contempt but selective hearing!  Having extolled the dogs recall to a friend I lost both poodles to the squirels of Moorwood.  Having turned the air rather blue with some choice phrases and shouted myself hoarse, I was startled by a terrier who appeared from out of the trees.

“You’re not a poodle!” I told him reproachfully.

“You are NOT my owner!!!” The terrier’s quizzical look seemed to say before retreating back into the undergrowth.

Thankfully poodles came back to me having found other walkers with more interesting things in their pockets than poo bags and a couple of crumbling gravey bones!
