Second time around doesn’t pertain to my relationship status but to the walking route I take with the retrievers! I call it around the block and it usually takes Pip and I forty-five minutes, longer with George because of the `sniff-factor!’

George, being an entire dog, is solely focused on the interesting smells left behind by the `ladies’.  Once out of the town he proceeds with his head down and nose to the ground, making purposeful snuffling noises. If he picks up on something particularly tantalizing his retriever chops begin to drool and vibrate with excitement.  When that happens it’s usually difficult to move him from the spot as his nose appears to be glued to the ground!
